Mileage is charged for trips outside of the state of Mississippi at a rate of $0.35 a mile. Mileage is not charged for work done within the state of Mississippi.
The 6 month maintenance schedule includes trip to the department's fire stations, minor repairs of lights, repair of loose panels and brackets, changing of pump oil, adjustment of pump packing, and checking all engine fluid levels. The 6 month maintenance schedule does not include any service deemed as major, i.e. valve repair or plumbing repairs.
Service Calls
Service calls are trips to the fire station not during the 6 month scheduled maintenance to provide service.
$100.00 service call charge
$65.00 per hour labor
$25.00 per hour for helper if needed
Cost of any and all parts used during the service call
